Hello!

I am a graduate student and am conducting a study on the role of emotional intelligence on expatriate adjustment. I am looking for expats who have been working outside of their home country for at least 3 months and intend to stay outside of their home country for at least 9 months. Hi Im new to the site and wondered if anyone could help.My family and I are considering moving to New Zealand.If we do my husband will be enlisting into the NZDF and we have been told that we will be based at either Linton Camp on the North isalnd or Burnham Camp on the South island. We were just wondering about local ammenities in these areas,ie,food shopping,buying electrical items,furnishings etc.We also have 2 small children 4 & 5 years old so we were wondering what is around to keep them happy,ie,clubs,after school activities.We are also considering leaving all of our things behind and coming with our suitcases.If anyone has any advice or help with any of these it would be greatly appreciated.
